In The Beginning

Piermont Bicycle Connection opened its doors on January 1, 1993 during one of the coldest winters in the history of Rockland County, New York (even the Hudson River froze over). Located in the tiny village of Piermont, New York, Glenn Davgin, Phyllis Davgin and Stephen Lopatkin, despite all of the negative outside opinions about the isolated location, chose that charming, scenic place for their new business. (Piermont is nestled at the base of the Rockland Mountains and bordered by the Hudson River.)
