The Tubeless Ready Maxxis Tomahawk is available in the 3C Maxx Terra compound for an intermediate blend of rolling efficiency and traction. In a choice of the popular EXO casing for all round performance and protection, or the reinforced Double Down casing for addition protection better suited toward aggressive Enduro and Downhill terrain.
What is the intended use?
The Tomahawk is designed as a real do-it-all tyre with the capability to tackle a wide variety of terrains and conditions. The square-edged, aggressive side lugs provide confidence in most corners, whilst the centre tread keeps you rolling fast.

EXO casing is the most popular casing from Maxxis, and features a densely woven fabric which is flexible and lightweight to protect against cuts and punctures. This is recommended for trail riding, all mountain and occasional enduro

3C Maxx Terra
Three different compounds (3C), harder at the base, softer at the edges and medium in the middle. Maxx Terra is an intermediate blend to roll fast but still give good supportive grip. Designed to be used across all mountain biking disciplines from XC to downhill
